Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
1. Introduction
Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how SnakVibe ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application and website.
2. Zero-Log Policy & Local Processing
SnakVibe is built on a privacy-first architecture. We do not track, log, or store your download history.
- All downloads are processed directly on your device.
- We do not route your media traffic through our servers.
- We do not know what videos, images, or audio you download or view.
3. Secure Vault Data
Any files you move into the "Secure Vault" are encrypted locally using AES-256 encryption. The encryption keys never leave your device. We have no backend access or "backdoors" to your Secure Vault. If you lose your PIN or password, we cannot recover your data.
4. Permissions Required
To function correctly, the SnakVibe app requests certain permissions on your Android device:
- Storage / Media Access: Required to save downloaded files to your device and to access files you wish to place in the Secure Vault.
- Network Access: Required to connect to the internet to download media from third-party websites.
- Biometrics (Optional): Required only if you choose to unlock your Secure Vault using fingerprint or face unlock. This data is handled exclusively by your Android OS and is never transmitted to us.
5. Third-Party Services
While using the built-in browser to download media, you are interacting directly with third-party websites (e.g., social media platforms). These websites have their own privacy policies and tracking mechanisms over which SnakVibe has no control. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of the sites you visit.
We may use standard crash reporting tools (such as Firebase Crashlytics) purely to identify app bugs and improve stability. These crash reports are anonymized and contain no personal identifiers or download histories.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
